We are a granite slab producer, importer, and distributor based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Our distribution warehouse allows us to deliver slabs to all areas of the Southeast. Our presence in Brazil has enabled us to source high demand types of granite consistently. Our focus is to fulfill the needs of the US granite market segment that requires consistent volume-based granite. Our model allows us to be highly competitive in pricing and to have a high quality standard. Background: Stones International was started in 2001. At the time the granite industry was growing at a very fast rate and we noticed an unfulfilled niche in the market. Fabricators were having a very hard time finding and relying on granite suppliers that could keep a consistent supply of commodity type granites. We found that consistency and high slab utilization were essential for a fabricator to be able to compete in the high volume builder / commercial market. This is where we stepped in and started the business with the foundation being at the beginning of the granite supply chain in Brazil. Using our relationships and investments at the quarry level of the supply chain, we have been able to fulfill this niche, and have been successful since the company's inception. Today: The Brazilian foundation of our business has not changed and is stronger then ever. We have invested in granite block processing equipment in Brazil allowing us to purchase directly from quarries and control all aspects of slab production. Having relationships with many of the Brazilian slab factories and quarries, we have developed a unique product line. The goal of our product line is to offer our clients a fresh and marketable granite solution. Our Premium Collection consists of materials we always have in inventory, both in Brazil and in our Atlanta warehouse. All of these materials have a consistent pattern and color scheme allowing for high fabricator utilization and easy color coordination. These materials are not considered as "Exotics", which are difficult to work with and unreliable. We are exclusive providers of the majority of these materials. Stones International purchases 100% of the block production of these smaller quarries. This narrow and exclusive product line has enabled our fabricators to market our granites and create value for their end customers and their bottom line.
